Appointment

     Initial Psychiatric Evaluations are completed for all new patients and last 1-2 hours. During this visit, we aim to get a holistic understanding of your overall health, collecting information about physical and mental health histories in addition to ongoing problems. We will discuss your current mental health symptoms including when they started, stressors, past or current treatment, and your treatment response. By the end of this visit, we will have collaborated together to establish your mental health goals and create a treatment plan to achieve them.  

     Once you book your initial psychiatric evaluation, it is important that you complete the intake paperwork emailed to you prior to your visit, which takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. In addition, it is helpful if you bring a list of all of your current medications and supplements to your initial appointment including the name, dose, and frequency of each. 
 

     Follow-Up Appointments are for established patients where we evaluate your treatment progress. Depending on the patient, these visits might be scheduled every one to three months after the initial appointment. You can expect these visits to last 30 minutes so we can thoroughly check in with you. We will assess if your symptoms are improving, remaining the same, or getting worse so we can make proper adjustments to your treatment.

     Follow-up visits are crucial to meeting your mental health goals. Every patient's journey to better mental health looks different, which is why we are passionate about checking in with our patients. As you progress toward your goals, your treatment plan might be modified to reflect your progress. We will be here to help guide you as you continue reaching your goals.

Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy

We understand that life happens and sometimes you cannot make it to your appointment. We request that you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours before your scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment or do not show up at all, you will be considered a no-show for the visit. Cancellations less than 24 hours before appointment time or no-shows may be subject to a $75 charge to their card on file.
